Technology has changed. The way we live has changed. But baseball has remained.
In a world that constantly reminds us of our differences, baseball brings us together. Sport brings us together. And we know we are stronger together than we are apart. So we implore people to gather around baseball, around sport, around music, comedy, and the arts. We will be better as a society for doing so.

At our core, The World Baseball League is driven to help others.
Our very first act as an organization was a fundraiser where our founder, Gaines Johnson, embodied Forrest Gump and traveled and ran from Alabama to Fenway Park in Boston to raise funds for ZTTK Syndrome, an ultra-rare disease impacting Gaines’s good friend, Lukie Guo.
Since then, we have raised, given, and contributed over $40,000 to non-profits and charitable causes, and we have volunteered countless hours helping others.
Every event we produce is tied to a charitable cause.
