Frequently Asked Questions

What are the rules of WBL?

  • Match Play Scoring: In the WBL, every inning is its own battle. The team that scores the most runs in an inning earns 1 point for that inning. Ties roll over to the next inning, ensuring edge-of-your-seat moments and the chance for dramatic, walk-off innings. Say goodbye to early-game blowouts!

  • Performance Points: Between innings, teams have 90 seconds to wow the crowd with a performance—think singing, dancing, or maybe even acrobatics. A panel of impartial judges or a fan vote decides who wins the performance point, adding a unique twist to the game.

  • Tie Breakers: Extra innings? Not in our world. Ties are resolved through epic and often unpredictable competitions. From home run derbies to dodgeball to surprise performances, our tie-breakers bring an added layer of excitement to the field.

  • Play and Perform: In the WBL, everyone’s a dual threat. Players perform, performers play—it’s all part of the game!

How can I donate my baseball/softball gear?

Bring it to any WBL event (practice, game, off-site social, or other event) and we will add it to our next delivery to SozoTrading. We have partnered with the great people at Sozo to get quality baseball and softball apparel and equipment (gloves, helmets, bats, face masks, catchers gear, bags, cleats, etc.) back into the communities who need them most. Please check out Sozo’s website to learn more about their incredible impact, both domestically and around the world.

Will there be food and drinks?
