THE WORLD BASEBALL LEAGUE
The WBL: Summer 2025
Bring the FAMILY (and PETS) to Avondale Park
-
Best. Ballpark. Food. Period.
Ballpark flavors without ballpark prices—The Stand’s got all-beef hot dogs, Conecuh sausage dogs, nachos, ice cream, snacks, and ice-cold drinks the whole family can afford (and actually finish).
-
Tues and Wed
Looking for something fun to do with the family this summer??
Come hang at Avondale Park—play games like cornhole, Bucket Golf, and grab a bite from The Stand…wiffle ball each Wednesday! Come make some memories that don’t involve a screen.
-
Thursday
Thursday nights just got a lot better—bring the family out to The Stand for movie night under the stars!
Popcorn, candy, and a big screen playing your favorite family-friendly films—because sometimes the best memories are made on a blanket with sticky fingers and full hearts.
-
Friday - WBL Games
Forget the crowded restaurant or another night of scrolling—Avondale Park is where the good stuff’s happening.
WBL games start 6PM each Friday! There’s a battle on the field, merch and music in the air, and your favorite ballpark eats at The Stand. It’s the kind of night your kids will ask to do again.
Since 2024, The World Baseball League has been striving to become a league of community. Welcome home to the place that can make your life a little more fun!

Tournament
The WBL’s first-ever tournament was a HUGE success - congratulations to The Legends and all the teams who made it to Rickwood. The format? Fast, competitive, and unlike anything else in baseball.
Rules
The WBL’s first-ever iteration of our tournaments will combine aspects of competitive baseball and midgame performances. The championship will be held at the oldest baseball park in America, Rickwood Field.
Fans
Even if you’re not suiting up, you can be part of the action. Home/visitor assignments in key innings are determined by fan competitions, meaning your energy could shift the game!
CAN YOU MAKE IT TO RICKWOOD?
Donate and Give Back
The WBL is proud to partner with Sozo, a local organization that helps bring baseball and softball to underserved communities. We’re encouraging fans to bring their used baseball and softball gear to any WBL game and help make a difference.
